Magnificent. Makes me want to move back to Norwich.
By Toby Kirby on Friday 22nd December 2006The exterior is a bit odd, but inside is a fantastic light and airy pub, with good decor and range of seating. But to be honest, with such a massive range of beers (both on handpump and gravity) from the UK and abroad - who cares what the seats are like?
By Clare on Sunday 18th June 2006Recently refurbished, this is the sister pub to The Fat Cat and the home of the Fat Cat brewery. The rather dull exterior is very deceptive - the inside is full of character without being tacky. Beer range is excellent (about 20 real ales plus Belgian stuff) and everything we tried was in great condition.

Now appears to be known as The Cidershed, rather than The Shed - the old Shed sign was against the wall inside the pub.
The pub itself seems to still focus on beer rather than cider, fortunately (although there were some ciders and a perry on too). Great beer, good pork pies and sandwiches at lunchtime, friendly staff - don't be put off by the fact that it looks like a community centre from the outside, it's a top pub.
