Smallish inside, this pub has a well stocked bar with 8 pumps of different ales, 4 lager taps, a variety of bottled beers and lots of whiskey. Seating is provided by long pew-like seats that line both walls, with curious thin 'tables' fixed to the ground at regular intervals in front of the seating. The walls are decorated with old promotional mirrors, mainly for varying whiskey brands.

Slightly eccentric, the ale at this pub was excellent, and there was very good choice.
