Fantastic old gem hidden behind parish church. High-backed settles and bare floorboards create a gentle, brooding atmosphere that has inspired some serious poetry over the years. Broadside on gravity is divine, and served through impromptu bar set up between two stable doors. Beautiful gardens and excellent food too. Not to be missed.
